My trip to India

 Friday 20 December 2024 

 

   

D-day had come, the trip has begun!! So first I wake up as usual, then we say bye to Simba (very sad). After that we got inside the bus and went to Schiphol. 

  

We did check-in and securty, then we waited in the gate for ages and then boarded our first flight. (AMS to GUW). It was a five hour flight. I started watching Despicable Me 4. It ended quite soon so I started reading Lottie Brooks and got disturbed by the food guy (very annoying) but it was YUMMY. Well, that is not the only good thing about this flight coz they gave us a travel kit IEK, so I opened it and saw so MUCH handy things like: toothbrush and paste, hand cream (very handy for me coz i get very dry hands), ear pods and so much more!! PS the kids got another kit plus headphones. After eating I checked on the screen in front of me, where we were. Two more hours to go, still reading like: how is this book SO good.  

 

  

Came in a whole different country and time, from Nederlands to Atrayu. I thought it would be a good, big airport but turned out to be the smallest airport, without internet. ‘Good’ I thought coz the stopover is only 3 hours 

  

Oh no bad news, the flight is delayed by two hours (will board at 03:45 now). What am I supposed to do without internet. My dad said ‘we will miss our Almaty to New Delhi flight’, oh no. I started to read again coz of boredom (is it possible to die from boredom?) 

 

 

 

Saturday 21 December 

 

ARAAGH the flight again got delayed from 03:45 till 05:30. And now my dad went with a gang of Indians (who all want to go to India) to the flight booker to book a flight. I  thought of sending a SOS massage in the Dolfijnen group about that me stuck here 

 

                                                                                              

I know they will not get the massage due to no internet but still. I went to my dad asking what he was doing and he said ‘trying to get tickets to New Delhi’, but the lady keeps saying wait, wait and WAIT. I got bored so I came down to see if the time has changed. No was the answer. 

  

Atryau people said that we can go to a restaurant to eat if we want, and I was STARVING.   

  

Reached back at the airport, and the food was GROSS, but I still ate it coz again I was STARVING. I checked if the time has changed and yep it did, AND NOW WE WILL BOARD AT 06:00, WOW.  

 

 

  

I am so cross. I wanted to meet a friend of mine so bad but I get to play with her a day less. Ok but the tickets to New Delhi is booked and it was free,YIPPEE. And I got some bad news, it is......... That we again have to pay the New Delhi to Bhubaneswar flight, YICKES. 

  

Boarded the flight, phew. Now I am gonna make a record of not sleeping a whole night.  

  

Landed in Almaty (why are the names of kazazhstan soooooo weird), well ok thats not the point. three good news  

Good news 1: we got a hotel in Almaty for FREE, HURRAY! 

Good news 2: there is soo much snow here like OMG!! 

Good news 3: there is internet YAAAAAAAAAAY!! 

Oh wait I got a massage from Celine, my BFF

My heart died like I was sitting next to a boy A BOY!! I talked more with Celine but its too much to write so, no. 

 

Reached hotel. Very tired, so I ate an instant cup of noodles, yum. Hotel people asked us to go to get some food and it was free.  

  

Kazazh food is GROSS I hate it except for the tea.it was the best one I ever had!!! Then we went for a walk in the snow for 30 minutes very fun. Then we came back. My mom offered me to go to a church (we are not even christians so) my dad also said like nope cya. So I thought of playing on my ipad so I can do something. 

 

My mom just came back and said it was very nice and intresting, like how can a church be intresting?! But I really wanna go to the airport coz I wanna reach New Delhi, but my mom said ‘Enjoy this moment’ like bru-. But I just counted how much hours left till we leave the hotel and its 11 hours! 

  

Oh no, I just finished my only book I got, I thought it will be finished by the end of the trip, coz it had like 400+ pages and I finished it now! But I gotta go sleep before I faint tomorrow.  

 

 

Sunday 22 December 

  

My dad put an alarm on to wake up on time and I woke up from the best dream / sleep. Well I can’t wait to go on the flight and land in New Delhi. So bye gotta get ready, coz the trip to the airport from here is 30 minutes. 

  

I forgot to tell you guys that all the Indians going to India from Almaty are also in the hotel going with us. It feels like we are in a film traveling illegally but we are legal. Umm they (the hotel server guys) said that the car will be 30 minutes late, Oh noo. 

  

I mean the car came on time then WHY did they say that it was 30 minutes late!?!? But I like JUST boarded the car so I’m gonna tell what I see. I see: 

See 1: five cenitmeter snow (thats very legendary to see in Nederlands) 

See 2: Cars frozen 

Oh the car began to ride now so the next thing I’ll say at the gate when I’m about to board the flight. 

 

 

 

Reached the gate and I slept like a baby (that’s what my mom said). Now I do miss Simba very much. Hold up I gotta inform my friend in India that I’m at the gate for boarding, and yeah there is internet. 

                                                                                                        

 

Oh I forgot that its a sunday and its 6 o clock. Oops. Well my mom went duty free shopping and needs help to PAY like bru-. I ignored so I started to play on my phone, my dad is very kind to give me one whole hour to play on my phone. If I asked my mom she would say no and help me shop. So I just played brawl stars and did some doulingo for my streak. I will board soon so see you at the plane. 

  

SORRY I totally forgot to write coz I was busy listening to music. I liked KPOP ALOT before but now not much, but there were no good music to listen so I chose Blackpink. Oh and again they gave us SO COOL STUF!! But the bad thing in traveling is that there is no internet on the plane so I have to avoid brawl stars for the time being. 

 

Landed two hours ago in New Delhi and I just ate WOW MOMO its very WOW. I guess there is nothing to tell here coz we just have to reach the gate and board the next flight. 

 

Boarded the Bhubaneswar flight, one hour ago. I was happy to almost reach my destination. It was a boring Indigo flight but the only thing I like is instant noodles and my mom said no noodles. So I just again thought of that ‘boredom death’ thingy. Well it is a two hours flight so I better plan a surprise for my friend Anu. 

  

My brain was not working/ not braining so I couldn’t think of a surprise, yikes. So I will just knock on the door and stand there waiting for their reaction. When I went in their house Anu was like ‘You lied’. I’m like ‘What did I do’? She thought that when I sent that message I was at the gate she thought the house gate. And I was like No silly, the boarding gate! Then we played like a kiddo and now I am in the car to drop my dad at his home. He said that he will be the baby of the house again. So I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow. 

 

 

Monday 23 December 2024 

  

Woke up very late, infact the late I EVER woke up!!! I guess I still am in Nederland time. So yes gotta tell you guys about yesterday, so we were in the car and went to my dad’s house. I pretty much was in deep sleep, IN A TAXI. Then we entered the lift, then we went up and talked about the leg of my grandma that got operated. It looked quite scary, then they showed the x-ray pictures. It looked very interesting (people I dont want to be a doctor but it looked interesting). After that we just bla bla blaed. Then we said bye to them plus my dad (very sad leaving him). But something AMAZING happened, I saw two cute puppies and they were so gorgeous. In fact I thought of Simba then. I guess you guys didn’t find it amazing but lets move on! Then we stepped in the car and, you guessed it, I slept. When I woke up I am like: why am I sleeping so much. Day ended. And now I’m gonna play with Anu, well its not very interesting so I guess I will not type that. 

  

I got the best news ever!!!!!! It is.......I WILL MEET MY ONE YEAR OLD COUSIN THAT I NEVER MET!!!! But there is also a bad news it’s we have to move to a smaller bedroom I NEVER slept in. Well I guess that I don’t know if it’s a bad or good or anything news? Oh and we had a noodle party. But now I have to eat, so ill talk later. 

 

 

Tuesday 24 December 2024 

  

Day 2 in India. My mom went out to eat. Just ate breakfast. And nothing much yet. 

 

Played with Anu. We played, carrom, hide and seek, played on Ipad and Iphone. She was soooooo exited to be playing on a Iphone 13 mini, so I just used my Ipad to play roblox and she on my phone. We played and it was time to have snacks, my mom said we could order some WOW MOMO'S and we did. My grandma said there are more kids downstairs to invite so we did. When we went down there was a boy and a girl that totally looked different from each other, so I thought that they are friends but they said they were siblings. Then we invited them up and started playing till someone knocked at the door, it was a four year old kid who wanted to play with us. Then we ate momo's and boba tea (delicious). Then we played carrom and the boy said that he used to play but forgot how to now. My reaction: BRUH-☠. But he still won. How!!!! After that we played hide'n seek, me and Anu went inside the closet and the girl went behind the sofa. Then I asked what are your name's the boy said 'My name is Pujesh and I am ten years and I play cricket' I said I also play cricket. And the girl said 'My name is Tannu, I am five years and I like to draw'. Ok so ANu and TAnNU, great I gotta rebember that. Then we did THA BOTtlE FLIP Challenge. I won definitely, no cap. And we did more things so I ain’t gonna say that. 

 

 

 

Wednesday 25 December 2024 

 

It's christmas and I have got a christmas hat from Nederland, so I wore it today. AND THE THE BEST NEWS, MY COUSIN ARRIVED (VERY HAPPY ARGGGGGH). But when it arrived it pretty much was shouting all around and laughing so I guess that's great. When I went to get Anu (with my hat), She was like What is that on your head'. Like she doesn't know what it is?!?!? So I explained it. She was like: AHH I GET IT,in a shouty voice. Then we went to play in our house and Anu was like: no I hate them, they are sooooo stupid' about the 2 siblings. 'But they are pretty kind' I said. 'Ok how about we play roblox and then ask them to come and play, ok'? And so we did. We played and went down to pick them up to play. And again we played carrom and hide'n seek and loads of times. Then we ate. And we asked them to come and play but their (parents) said 'They are sleeping'. Like who sleeps in the afternoon, BRU-☠. Then I asked Anu to come eat ramen. And so we did this time we ate with rice cakes. She said that she didn't like the soup but that is the BEST part!!!!!!! My mamu (if you dont know what a mamu is. Well its my mom's brother so its good to know right?) told that I could choose some birthday gifts. I chose a monopoly deluxe edition game and some exploding kitten card game. They both will come on 27 december so thats good coz 27 december is my birthday. Then we played carrom with (only) Anu and Aayansh (my cousin who is just jumping on the carrom board) we said bye and ate dinner and now I'm typing this. We ate chow mein and some rolls. Why is it already the third day of our trip. It's soooo fast, well atleast there is still six more days left. 

 

Thursday 26 December 2024 

 

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I'am soo exited, and exactly 24 hours is my birthday. I'AM BORN ON A FRIDAY 27 DECEMBER AT 13:33. And tomorrow it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! Ok now I’m gonna eat. 

  

And again we played with Anu and Pujesh and Tannu. In the morning we played carrom, and got bored of it so I suggested to play cricket outside. And so we did. But then Anu’s mom came and said ‘You gotta take a bath, Anu’. Then we played (without Anu) and got a surprise - ABHI CAME! YOU GUYS DONT KNOW WHO HE IS BUT WHO CARES!!! FYI Abhi is my mom’s cousin but is ONLY eight months older than me so he is just a friend of mine, Anu, Pujesh, Tannu. Then Pujesh asked me if it was my birthday tomorrow, and so I said yes, then he said that he has tuition tomorrow so he will not be joining. But he said that he is free on saturday, to play. We played something like two or three hours then Anu came. She said that she loves cricket soooooo much, but was only standing in the side and was being scared of the (tennis) ball. You don’t call that ‘I love cricket’, right? Well, then we ate and it was not what I liked, actually. 

Then I went to play with Anu and invited the siblings, but again they are sleeping like a gadha. Then we started to say to each other‘ Ye kya hua mera ghamcha khulgaya’ it means: Oh no what happened my towel fell down, but the meme is like ‘he prabhu he bada ram krishna jagarnath premanande ye kya hua, mera ghamcha khulgaya’. And more carrom and some more buldak ramen and, I guess that's it for the day. CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!!!!!!   

 

 

Friday 27 December 2024 

(AKA  my birthday!!!) 

 

 

 

IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! Well I am still not officially 11 cuz its not yet 13:33. My grandpa told me that we all (my whole family) are gonna celebrate in a buffet restaurant so I’m gonna save some space for my belly.😋 So now I’m gonna go get Anu. 

  

Anu is still sleeping like a gadha (gadha = donkey I am saying it cuz a donkey is very lazy and she looks like one, hehehe) and I just ate well not to much. Now I’m gonna go get ready and tell you guys everything.  

  

In the morning when Anu just woke up she came down and said ‘Did you see the masage that I sent you’? Then I checked my masages and this is what she said: 

 

  

                                                                          

  

Then I checked at what time she sent and it is 00:00?!?!? Then my dad came to our house to just come to drive the car and celebrate my bday. So it was time to get ready for my BIRTHDAY (FYI dont judge me that I am telling too much OMG ITS MY BIRTHDAYYY !!!!!! Its just a special day). I chose a boba tea shirt that almost no one has seen even my besty. Well we are digressing from the topic so I chose a boba tea shirt and a snoopy sweater and a white pant that I have a year but I never wore it (Well you guys will be thinking why I have soooooo much clothing but I never wear that coz I wear two pairs of clothing per week and that again goes another week so, for me I don’t really care about what I wear but how comfortable it is soooo). Then me and Anu played roblox again, for some reason. After few minutes my mom called me and Anu if we wanted to do some make up. I just put some vaseline coz my lips become rusty musty dusty and very dry so. Anu said why I was putting my vaseline like that, I asked how it is supposed to be she said it has to be perfect on the lips, like vaseline is not to look glossy bro its for your dryness. My lips are always dry around and inside my lips. Hold up got a message from Celine: 

 

  

                                                                     

  

  

Ha! Good for her but ok. Urgent I totally forgot to tell you guys that my grandpa fell down the stairs and broke the leg the day before we were coming. So after we put lip balm we (Anu and me) went down to play while my parents and grandparents are shouting about ‘How are we going to bring him down stairs?’ So after so much shouting they finally decided to take him down by taking him in the hands. (Very disappointed at them coz they shouted so much and just decided rubbish). Then we took millions of pictures at that spot, even Aayansh got tired (Aayansh has a lot of energy and its a wonder when he is over). So we sat in the car and playing ‘Ami je tomar’ millions of times. Its a very good song if you are a Bollywood fan you should listen to it. When it was 13:32 o clock we started to count down cuz I WILL BE OFFICIALLY 11 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!!! When we reached there, we sat down and were bla bla blaing, when our starters came we started to eat and stopped bla bla blaing. There was, chicken, fish, prawn, maize, grilled mashed potatoes, mushroom and paneer. They all were yum so I actually got full there, oops. My mom suggested me and Anu and Abhi to go check what all food there is. There was, pasta, butter chicken, biryani and more things. (I am definitely gonna take pasta coz I miss the taste of pasta and some butter chicken to prove that I am a real  

indian coz some class mates (Oli, Lucas and Benjamin) say that I am a fake Indian because I haven’t eaten butter chicken for a long time so). Then Anu told me that I also hve to send a masagge at 00:00. HA! I’m not doing that, it was your idea to send that masagge at 00:00 not mijn. And I was enjoying the taste of chicken till when Anu and Abhi started running after each other. After four million hours we finally decided to leave. My dad said that some relatives want to meet me, so we went. It were all my dad’s side relatives. After all the bla die blas my mom said that we are going to mufasa movie so that means we have to hurry. Me in my mind: wait you guys never told me that we are going to a movie. When we were about to leave my mom said ‘OMG we almost forgot, we have to make a group photo’. ‘Thanks mom’ I heard in my mind. After all those group photo’s, they gave me five euro’s each (they actually gave me a note of 500 rupee’s each but if you transfer it in euro’s then it is 5 euro’s). So when we finally sat in the car, we went to Esplanade (a mall). We thought we were late for the movie so my dad dropped us as fast as he can. He will park and join will join us.  When we reached the ticket counter we took first row seat coz everything was booked. My dad arrived and we went in, when we reached the movie we found out that it was in Hindi. I know a little bit of hindi tho. In the end when Scar became enemies with Mufasa I became emotional. Infact very emotional. My parent brought me to KFC. It made my happy. So we orderd some 6 ps tenders. When we finished eating it was pretty late. My dad came only for the day but it was late so decided to stay at our place. It was very late when we reached home. Something like 23:48 or something. And now I am writing this. I gotta sleep now. BYEEEEEEEE. 

 

Saturday 28 December 2024 

 

  Woke up late (AGAIN). Coz I slept at one o clock. But I AM OFFICIALLY 11 YEARS OLD NOW YIPPEEEEEEE. So as useual I woke up, I brushed my theeth and took a bath. (In Nederland I take a bath in the evening but here they say dat is hygenic to take a bath in the morning). Then I ate something, just I dont know what the name is, oops. When I picked Anu up (like I picekd her while holding her shirt hihi). I told to bring them (Pujesh and Tannu) up. And so we did. We went down with all the efort and tiredness and when we finally reached down (its just going one stair case down hihihi). They said that Pujesh and Tannu went to there village, WOW.  So AGAIN we went up and thought about where they went. Nothing much today exept playing caram with Anu. 

 

 

Sunday 29 December 2024 

 

Tomorrow is Anu's 10th birthday, and its almost new year!!! And on Duolingo there is a new year offer where you can get 60% of on Super Duolingo. I dont really think to get Super Duolingo 

  

I know its late but I still have to write today’s day right? Well ok lets begin. So I woke up then brushed my teeth ate something and brought Anu down. Is there something new to say? Oh yeah, Its almost over, we are almost going home 😭. Well so we played carram and our new Monopoly game. But some how I found Anu a little bit suspicious in the Monopoly gme. I did think that she would be CHEATING! So I told her that I’m going to the toilet. And so I hid behind the door to see. And I was right. I CAUGHT HER, MWA HA HA HA. She got some explanations to do. Well we did find out that this game NEVER ends. I’ll repeat NEVER. So we just ended it like that. Then after eating some strange food we played again, thinking that this time the game will end. (FYI we were very wrong. This game also didn’t end. Like I told this games NEVER ends). Then we did some bla berdie blabs. This time we invited mamu and my dad to play with us. And so they did! When we started playing I heard the orts new ever. Do you want to know if yes then read furthered. If no then skip a few sentences. Oke here we go.... WE ARE GOING TO KONARK ON ANU’S BIRTHDAY. WITCH IS VERY VERY VERY SAD, RIGHT?

Sunday 30 December 2024 

 

Like I told you guys, that im not sending any masagge at 00:00 for Anu, coz I want to sleep. You guys may bin wondering why im up so early. Well this is my actual time to wake up so al of those time are l uesless. And we are going to Konark. I mean I want to go to Konark but why today? ON ANU’S BDAY, WHY? Ok so tomorrow is new year eve and im very exited to celebrate it. Ok we are talking non sens now. I thought of knocking on Anu’s door but I forgot Its very early. So I really wanted to wear my Simba pant and scouting shirt. But unfortunately lolpol is in the house. Lolpol (Lolpol = my parents) told that I have to wear something new but I totaly don’t agree with them. They did say we are going to the beach and a temple, so I may want to wear something new. They said that I HAVE to wear the new dress that I got in my bday. But no I said. Then they started to forse me. Then after all the forsings I dicided to wear a stich shirt and a Simba pant. I didn’t want to change my Simba pant coz that has memory of my cat Simba so that. Now im ready but lolpol not so im just gonna ask my dad for time on my phone so that they can do there stuf when I play on my phone. 

  

Well lolpol took alote of time that I finished with my allowed time, LOL. So my mom told that we have to go and wake Anu up for her bday. And so me and my mom did. We woke up Anu and gave her some clothes for her bday. Then we went to Konark. When we sat in the car we left the house and said bye to aja and aej. (Aja and aej = grandpa and grandma). The roads in India are like crusty musty dusty and there are a lote of stones on the road. Aayansh was trying to sleep but just the crusty musty dusty roads woke him up. I also tried to sleep but that didnt really work. When we finally reached we went to the sun temple. Me and my dad were lost and we thought that this is the entree. Then my dad told a story about how and why the sun temple was made and why it broke. It was something like ‘There were 12000 trained people and everything was made but they needed to put a something on the top but that didn’t work. It was falling down the whole time. But someone’s son said that I want to try and his dad allowed it. On his first try he did it. But they were scared that the manager will punish them so the son sacrificed his life’. I was like bruh you dont have to die for puting a something on the top. Ok when we finally found Aayansh mom mamu and mai, (I think I explaned you guys that mamu= mom’s brother and mai=mamu’s wife) we finally went in the sun temple. And again my mom toke millions of photo’s in one place. 

 When my mom said we are done with photo’s we went to the next spot. I actually want to go back to play with Anu. After going to the garden and fetching Aayansh we went to eat. And to my suprise It was in a Sahoo restaurant. (My full name is Avni Sahoo) We we at down Aayansh started crying and then he was allowed on the phone. He used his time on the phone to watch Cocomelon. I ate some shrimps and some rice while the rest ate some chicken and fish. When finished eating we went to the beach. The plan to be on sand and water was 2 hours. But Aayansh and me stayed in water for 3 hours (hihi). Then we went to the car to change. When I tried to change all the sand fell in the car, woops. We all got chips and chai and we all chapt it. After I finished my chips I wanted to steal one from Aayansh. Well that did’t go well. So when I stack my hand in the chips of Aayansh he saw it and I put it in my mouth. He got so angry that he wanted to take that chips back from my mouth, but that was to late. Then he threw the whole thing on the ground. Then I had to apologize. After 10 minutes my leg started to hurt very badly and I had to pee. House was in 1 hour so I had to go. Luckly mamu stoped the car to get some medicine. So there was my opportunity to say ‘I gotta pee and my leg is hurting’. My dad thinks that he is a doktor and can solve everything. (Actually he can be a dokter coz he has fixed my headache and leg many times). So he came to the back of the car to help me. He killed my leg pain. Yeay. Then he said that he also needs to go pee, lol. So he brought me somewhere that I dont know how I crossed the road coz when we wanted to go back to the car we got stuck in a zebra cross coz nobody even cared we were there so my dad tried to stop a car but he almost died. That car didn’t stop, but luckly he came back on time. When we finally crossed the road we went back home. And when we reached home Aayansh started to cry. Everyone was saying that he is missing his dad. But I enjoyed my head shower bath. And my mom ordered some DUMPLINGS!!!!!!!!!! I loved the dumplings. And now I’am gonna bring Anu and play. I know its very late, but who cares? But im gonna talk to you guys tomorrow bye. 

 

Monday 31 December 2024 

 

I cant belief that today is our last day of our vacation. It velt like we just landed in Bhubaneswar but it also feels like we were here for ages. So I dont know how I feel right now. Well Anu said ‘We are going to explanet can you come?’ I said ‘Why not?’ Well I am still wondering what she wants to buy. I want to buy some clothes that are comfortable. But my dad called my mom to come visit them. My mom wanted to go but I dont. So I said no. My mom went and I am at home, with Anu. 

 

I just asked Anu what she wanted to buy. And guess what she said, MAKE UP! Like witch kid wears make up. She said that her favorite make up compeny, is sugar. I asked why? She said ‘Oh I saw it in youtube’. WOW. Not.  

 

 

Urghh my dad called me to say come to our house. I said nope but my dad didn’t let me like that. So after a lot of arruguings I still went. I asked Anu if she wants to come but ‘no’ she said.  

 

 

My mom just came and now we are leaving. My mom disscussed with her mom and she agreed. And now Anu is coming, YEAY.  

 

 

Now we are at home. (Actually im at home for four hours now but dicied to write now). So we booked a taxi and went. When we reached there we went up. My mom said it was only for lunch, so we can go home early. YUPPEE. And we ate lunch and played some game with my grandpa. Then we went home. When we in the car I asked how much langueges she knows. She said five. I asked ‘Which five langueges’. And she said, Hindi, Odia, English, Japanees and Dutch. Well Japanees and Dutch are deffinetly a cap so I asked ‘say, Ik ben jarig in English’ ‘I dont know’ she said. I said that you dont know dutch and then she asked me ‘say, I’m going to a friends house bye in Odia’ I said that so easly but I said friend in English. She didn’t count that right but I said ‘I dont know shudhe odia’. (shudhe = best/perfect). She said ‘Same, I also dont know shudhe japanees and dutch’. Ok now its over, I am calling my mom to interfeer. My mom gave a good answer. She said ‘You can call it a languege if you can give or understand a whole conversation’.
